He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel P. Taylor Sr. and Anne Taylor Quimby; and his sister Martha T. Shuttlesworth. He is survived by: his brother Donald J. Taylor (Jean); his daughters, Mary McFerrin (Richard) and Jenny Horne (Jeffery); and his grandchildren, Conner McFerrin, Jeffery and Caitlin Horne. He is also survived by two nephews and three nieces.
