He was predeceased by: his son Jeremy Scott Russell. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Waller Russell; his son Robert Marcus Russell; his grandchildren, Austin Jacob Russell, Kennedy Gail Russell and Brooklyn Raine Russell; and his brother Phillip Patton Russell (Pamela Ann). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery (3133 Hwy 119, Montevallo, AL 35115).
