He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rivers; his children, Marvin Rivers (Alison), Charlotte Rivers (Richard Weaver), Vera Weaver (Josh) and Joshua Rivers (Sarah); his grandchildren, Ashley Rivers, Cara Rivers, Michael Reed, Kirkston Weaver, Layla "Bug" Weaver, Austin Weaver, Kaitlyn Byrd, Cara Weaver, Josh Weaver, Jr., Bryson Rivers and Dalton Rivers; his great grandchildren, Asher Michael Reed and Leland Peavy; and his siblings, Nettie Lee Taylor, Marvin Rivers, Jr. and Mart Rivers. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
