He was predeceased by : his parents, Lorene Barefield and Byrd Barefield. He is survived by : his wife Helen Watson Barefield; his sons, Brad Barefield (Celeste) of DeFuniak Springs and Kevin Barefield of Bluffton; and his grandchildren, Grant Barefield of DeFuniak Springs, Mary and Isabella Barefield of Bluffton.
