He was predeceased by: his parents, John T., Sr. and Ollie Wilson Gauldin. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Howard Gauldin; his sons, Tim Gauldin and Tom Gauldin; and his half-siblings, Wayne King and Rose Mary Phillips. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
