He is survived by: his wife Julia Jarrell Blackwood; his brother William Steven; his sister-in-law Helen Blackwood of Lisbon, Portugal; and his sisters, Brenda (Wayne Keller) and Beverly (Randy Smith). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
