He was predeceased by: his parents, Amerson Gaillard Jaye and Freida Belle Scott Jaye. He is survived by: his brother William Gaillard "Bill" Jaye; his wife Mary Ann Terry Jaye; his children, Tonya Pitts (Roger) of Loxley, Denise Herrod (Allen) of Prattville, Terry Norris (Greg) of Excel and Alan Jaye (Peggy) of Cecil; and his grandchildren, Keith Tucker, Brandon Norris (Terri), Lanie Norris House (Ken), Bradley Jaye, Stephen Jaye, Jaye Herrod Durkin (Matt), Bibb Herrod (Ashton) and Jacob Herrod. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
