She was predeceased by: her husband James Dewey Hudson; her parents, Albert "Buster" Holder Dolbear and Claudia May Dolbear; her son-in-law Bill Garris; and her siblings, Archie Dolbear, Sambo Dolbear and Addie May Dolbear Andrews.

She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Hudson (Brenda), Bill Hudson (Cathy), Jim Hudson (Susie), Kay Hudson Garris (late Bill), Sally Hudson Tillman (Rick) and Sandra Hudson; and her sisters, Virgie Smith and Geraldine Rynders. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

The family will accept flowers or contributions can be made to the Mexia Baptist Church Dewey Hudson Scholarship Fund.
