We are sad to announce that, on February 13, 2026, at the age of 78, Brenda Joyce Gilliland (Midfield, Alabama) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Brenda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Brenda's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jethro and Alta Lee Everitt. She is survived by: her children, Dana Lee Gilliland-Pharo (Charles) and Malcolm Jethro Gilliland (Joella); her granddaughters, Brittany Dunlap, Jasmine Dunlap and Rhiannon Dunlap; and her husband David Samuel Gilliland.
