With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Danny Ray McKnight (Midland City, Alabama), born in Dothan, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2025 at the age of 73. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Danny Ray may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed McKnight and Margaret McKnight; his brother Jimmy McKnight; and his granddaughter Saylor McKnight. He is survived by: his children, Danny McKnight II (Kristine) of Douglas, Georgia and Tiffany Clardy (Michael) of Dothan, Alabama; his brothers, Steve McKnight (Norma) of Dothan and Rodger McKnight of Dothan; his grandchildren, Madison and Maggie McKnight of Dothan; and his siblings' children, Ashley McKnight (Susie) of Panama City, Florida and Emrist Mustin (Garrett) of Dothan. He is also survived by grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, and close friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Park. The military honors was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the same location.
