She is survived by: her spouse R. L. Patterson; her daughter Lakerra Jackson (Tony); her stepsons, Travis Poke and Shushan Patterson; her daughter-in-law Breanna Patterson; her grandchildren, Aubrey Hunt, Riley Patterson and Tony Emmanuel Jackson; her sisters, Jewel Parrish, Mary Girtman and Doretha Platt; her siblings-in-law, Ruthy Patterson, Annie Mae Williams, Tom Patterson, Nathaniel Patterson, James Patterson, Henry C. Patterson, Tim Patterson and Eddie McGriff; and her close friends, Peggy Dixion, Cora Walker, Linda Copeland, Mattie Wright and Renae Gordon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Crematory (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350).
