He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Cook Smith (Fred) and BJ Brown (James Brown); his grandchildren, Tabitha Cook Lowe (Ed), Molly Brown Myers (Luke), Macy Brown and James Matthew Brown (Holly); and his great grandchildren, Avery Vice, Maddy Vice, Will Myers, Eve Myers, Adelaide Myers and Daisy Brown.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
