The passing of May Lorena Cooper (Midland City, Alabama) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 12, 2025 at the age of 83. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie McArthur and Lorena McArthur; and her brother Charles McArthur. She is survived by: her husband Larry Cooper; her children, Tonnie Cooper, Teresa Cooper Gilley (Tim) and Larry Cooper Jr. (Lisa); her grandchildren, Courtney Gilley Petrizzi (Anthony), Larry Cooper III and David Cooper; and her sisters, Irene Lister and Naomi Ashley.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Crematory (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
The family respectfully accepts flowers and also invites those who wish to do so to make a memorial contribution to the MS Foundation in May's honor.
