He was predeceased by: his parents, George Earnst Borchardt and Doris Marie Taylor Borchardt; and his daughter Susan Marie Kelley. He is survived by: his wife Nancy C. Borchardt; his sons, Dale Borchardt, Wayne Borchardt (Becky) and Robert Grant (Jean); and his brother Stephen Borchardt (Patricia). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
