She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lewis Boyd and Mamie Wyll Wood Boyd; and her husband Edwin Graham Smith. She is survived by: her children, James Smith, John Smith (Donna), Marlene Smith and Malcolm Smith (Susan); and her sister Brenda Pennington. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054). A graveside service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brookside Memorial Gardens (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054).
