He is survived by : his wife Rebecca Gantt Gunn; his sons, James Michael Carmack and Jason Matthew Carmack (Ashley); his grandchildren, Chloe Miranda Davis, Brenden Carmack, Grace Carmack, Nicholas Carmack, Alison York Smith, Alexander Carmack, Hanna Carmack, Hailey Carmack and Emily Carmack; and his great grandchild Cameron Smith.
