He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Long Sr. and Elizabeth Clipper Long; and his siblings, William Elmore Long, Bessie M. Long Zeigler, Mary Long, Peter Long and Gilbert T. Long.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Lee Long; his daughter Jamek Long (Tonya); and his siblings, Jack Long Jr., Doris Channey, Diane Upshaw (Art), Josh Long and Brenda Williams (Adrian). He is also survived by Six Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lake Elam Missionary Baptist Church (3268 William Ashley Drive, Millbrook, AL). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at the Brookside Memorial Gardens (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054).
