She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Derrill Sanderson and Lula Price Sanderson; her husband Billy Wayne Knighten; and her son Michael Knighten. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Knighten (Rosemery) and Stephen Knighten; and her sister Cheryl Lee (Willie). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
