He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell Royal and Annie Ray Edwards Royal. He is survived by: his wife Tracie Ebron; his daughter Christy Hines; his grandchildren, Hailey Hines and Aaliyah Williams; his great grandchildren, Noah and Oakleigh O'Brien; and his sisters, Rhonda Crumpton (Brian) and Anita Ward (Marvin). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
