In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Roderick leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Roderick may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Reeves, Sr. and Eva Maxine Young Reeves; his son Roderick Shawn Reeves, Jr.; and his sister Michelle McGhee. He is survived by: his siblings, Zerrick Reeves (Tamara), Arthur Reeves, Jr. and Monica Reeves; and his nephew Terez Jones. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Brookside Memorial Gardens (3360 Brookside Dr, Millbrook, AL 36054).
