She was predeceased by : her parents, William Howard Brooks and Annie Maude Jones Brooks; her husband Larry Hodge; her son Boyd Hodge; and her brother Julius Brooks.

She is survived by : her children, Hal Hodge (Lauren), Sherron Nelson (Ronald), Lynne Moody and Luci Davis; her siblings, Billy Brooks (Jane), Lucretia Cauthen (Dwight) and Melinda Harris (Doug); her grandchildren, Stephanie Wright, Nathan Hodge, Alexandra Hodge, Erin Smith (Jeremy), Ryan Nelson (Mollie), Blake Moody (Brooke), John Paul Davis, Ella Davis and Molly Davis; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Allen, Anniston Allen, Wyatt Taylor, Jaxon Smith, Landon Harris, Bentleigh Nelson and Hayes Moody. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Hospice, 2001 East South Blvd, Montgomery, AL 36116 in her memory.
