He was predeceased by: his wife Mable Dearmon Myers; his parents, Roy Raymond Myers, Sr. and Bessie Bliss Myers; and his siblings, Roy Raymond Myers, Jr., Charles Bliss Myers, Muriel Engle, Gladys Cummings, Violet Butler, Faye Gray and Barbara Dahlgren.
He is survived by: his sons, Kenneth Douglas Myers (Sandra), Gary Myers (Peggy), J. Darwin Myers (Leah), Carl Myers (Mellanee) and C. Kevin Myers (Sandy). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Independent Community Church at 176 Horace Odom Road, Millry, AL 36558.
