With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Jones of Millry, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Jones and Vera Loper Jones; his siblings, John H. Jones, Oscar Phillip Jones and Mary Elizabeth Stanley; and his great grandchild Kerrington Kirkland.
He is survived by: his wife Ciddie Leigh Waite Jones of Millry, AL; his children, Rebbeca Jones McLaughlin (Kevin) of Mobile, AL, Jackie Jones of Millry, AL, Paul Dean Jones (Kay) of Millry, AL and Silas Dale Jones (Karen) of Millry, AL; and his grandchildren, Ashley Jones Cooley (Matthew), Malorie Jones Kirkland, Jessica Jones Williams (Ryan), Ryan McLaughlin (Sherrie), Savannah Jones Pitts (Josh), Matthew McLaughlin, Whitney Jones Howard (Seth), Dakota Jones (Chesley) and John Paul McLaughlin (Alice). He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Independent Community Church (296 Mehaphy Rd, Millry, AL 36558). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Paul Jones Memorial Cemetery.
