He was predeceased by: his parents, Tot Becton and Mattie Becton; and his siblings, L. D. Becton, Joe Becton and Totsy Ann Todd.
He is survived by: his wife Amy "Chip" Becton of Millry, AL; his children, Thad Becton (Crystal) of Silas, AL and Braye Galloway (David) of Pensacola, FL; his brother O. M. Becton (Carolyn) of Silas, AL; and his grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Galloway, Madison Galloway, Avery Becton, Aiden Becton, Owen Becton and Kyle Galloway. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waynesboro First Methodist Church (701 Turner St, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Life Deliverance Center in Waynesboro.
