He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Butler and Helen Thomas; his brother Sammy Butler; and his son Mark Butler. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Butler; his son Sam Butler; and his friend Phill Platt. He is also survived by loving relatives and friends.
A wake was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (19180 Center St, Citronelle, AL 36522). Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (7840 State St, Citronelle, AL 36522). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at the Pine Crest Cemetery.
