As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alice Elizabeth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Thompson and Aza Lea Thompson; her brother Jessie "Buddy" Thompson; and her child Lee James. She is survived by: her husband Luther James, Jr.; and her children, Gary James (Jane) of Cambridge, MD, Rhonda Richburg (Ken) of Mobile, AL and Dana James of Lakewood, CO.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
