It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alonzo Rigsby (Mobile, Alabama), born in Frisco City, Alabama, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Rigsby and Annie Rigsby; his children, Delmarshra Rigsby and Timothy Wright; and his sister Geneva Lambert.
He is survived by: his wife Erma Rigsby; his children, Joakima Rigsby (Dion King), Patricia Womack (Larry), Natasha Rigsby-Mabien (Clarence), Vanessa Mabien and Thomas Rigsby; his granddaughter Carlita Lett-Blades; his daughter-in-law Cassandra Wright; his siblings, George Lee Rigsby and Louise Haynes; and his friend Ann Bridgewater. He is also survived by grandchildren, family, and friends.
