Alta Sue Kidd Patton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alta Sue Kidd Patton of Mobile, Alabama, born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas William Kidd and Dovie Ritter Kidd; her husband Earl Patton; her siblings, Frances Briggs, June Fikes Forbess, Helen Mosley, Tommy Kidd and Jimmie Kidd; and her son-in-law Thomas Meador.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Meador of Mobile, Pam Ezell (Jay) of Birmingham and Tim Patton (Kelley) of Daphne; her siblings, Betty Maxwell of Turlock and John Kidd of Albuquerque, N. M.; and her grandchildren, Anne Ezell, Laura Ezell, Tripp Meador (Jennifer), Alicia Ezell, Kathryn Butts (Alan), Amber Patton, Amanda Hyder (Matt) and Scott Patton. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Sue's honor to the First Baptist Church of Butler or the Choctaw County Public Library.
