It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andretta McCants (Mobile, Alabama), who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gloria Wheaton Finney of Mobile, AL. and Alexander Files of Mobile, AL.; her grandmother Mary Ellen Files of Mobile, AL.; her parents-in-law, Woodrow McCants, Sr. and Hattie McCants; her sister Michelle Nicholas Johnson; and her brother-in-law John Harris.

She is survived by: her son Louis Gloston III; her husband Woodrow McCants, Jr.; her daughter April McCants Gloston (Louis); her grandchildren, Taylor McCants, Louis Gloston IV, Landon Gloston and Londyn Gloston; her siblings, Gail Harris, Rose Montanez (Jose) and Joseph Nicholas; her siblings-in-law, Col. Rivers Jake Johnson Jr., Otha McCants, Sr. (Vanessa), Roy McCants (Jeannette), Victor McCants, Jr. (Pat), Wanda Grant (Jay), Natashia Spearman (Elwin), Angela Shelly (Michael) and Karen Alexander; her aunt Gail Wright (Henry); her godchildren, Amanda Bradley, Gayritha Wright and Brandon Connors; and her nieces and nephews, Tuajana Nicholas, Chrystal Johnson-McCurdy, Rashard Nicholas, Royce Harris (Tammy), Rivers Johnson Ill (Crystal), Genavese Harris, James Bradley Jr. (Whitney), Ashante Nicholas (Sabrina), Amanda Harris, Roosevelt Bradley, Jarren Nicholas, Cassidy Nicholas, Kourtland Nicholas, Kieran Nicholas, Kayla Nicholas, Louis Gloston IV, Landon Gloston, Londyn Gloston, Paige McCurdy, Peyton McCurdy, Cookson Bradley, DeMarion Harris, Abigail Harris, Aliza Harris, Annalisa Harris, Rivers Johnson IV, Emma Johnson and Zaria Nicholas.
