She was predeceased by: her mother Charlotte Witherspoon Gander; her brothers, J. V. (Bubba) and Charles Gander; and her grandson Andrew Elijah Clifton. She is survived by: her father Joseph Victor; her children, Charlyn Clifton (Troy, Jr.), Priscilla Gaby (Mike) and Howard Allen II (Shelly); her grandchildren, Troy Allan Clifton (Debbie), Adam Clifton (Kerry) and Charlotte Chastang (Bubba); her children, Holly Hicks, Tony Hicks (Amanda), Michael Gaby (Amanda), Brooke Cooper (Kevin), Dawn Poole (Matt) and Hunter Allen (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Cydnie Demings (Robert), Amber Cline (Jacob), Morgan Portillo (Daniel), Brittney Crist, Katlyn Thornell (Christian), Paxton Hicks, Kenzie Allen, Ansleigh Allen and Drew Cooper; her great great grandchildren, Auburn Demings, Bastion Demings, Cristyn Demings and Billie Elizabeth Cline; and her significant other Howard Allen.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Ann's memory to one of her favorite charities, Embrace Alabama Kids (formerly the United Methodist Children's Home) 3140 Zelda Ct.
