It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur L. Jackson (Mobile, Alabama), who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arthur L. Jackson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ledell Jackson and Daisy Mae Jackson; and his siblings, Robert Jackson, Alma Lee, Smith, Catherine McNeil, Charlie Jackson, Jessie Pearl Bolar, Annie Clark, Idell Jackson, JoAnn Jackson, English Jackson, Green Jackson and Norma Smiley.
He is survived by: his wife Josephine T. Jackson; his children, Christopher Jackson (Elmetra) of Southaven, MS, Jennifer Mutee (Yasir) of Memphis, TN and Auriel Jackson of Memphis, TN; his stepchildren, David Thomas (Tchiniavaia) of Mobile, AL, Vincent Thomas of Mobile, AL and Kendra Berry (Jacoby) of New Market, AL; his siblings, Deloris Law of Prichard, AL and James Jackson of Mobile, AL; and his caregivers, Pauline and Katherine Dale of Mobile, AL. He is also survived by grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Toulminville Warren United Methodist (2271 St Stephens Rd, Mobile, AL 36617).
