The memory of Barbara Gray Etheredge of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lottie Gray Brooks (Sandley) and Rubin Acie Brooks; and her husband Sidney Earl Etheredge. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Lynn Thomas, Donna Marie Alford, Susan Melinda Stokes and Robin Ann McClinton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Crest West Cemetery (1599 Snow Rd, Mobile, AL 36695).
