In the sacred silence of farewell, Betty is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Betty's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her son Daniel Davis Potter. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia "Trish" Sellew; and her grandchildren, Bill Brown and Stephanie Potter. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, 2 step-great grandchildren, 4 nephews, 2 nieces, and 12 great nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.
Unable to stand on her own for many years, Praise the Lord she is now walking in Heaven !In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be offered in Betty's name to the General Fund at Fulton Road Baptist Church.
