She was predeceased by: her parents, Elza, Sr. McGadney and Bertha McGadney; her sons, John Lee Bivins, Jr. and Trellis Bivins, Sr.; her grandson John Bivins Young; her siblings, Bertha McGadney Robinson, Elizabeth McGadney Miller and Elza McGadney, Jr.; and her husband John Bivins, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Bivins Page (William), Sonja Bivins (Donald English), Tracy Bivins (Sharon) and Ashley Bivins Williams (Jack); her sister Linda Ervin; her brother-in-law Eddie Miller, Sr.; her daughter-in-law Jacquelyn Bivins; her grandchildren, Shannon Young, Trellis Bivins, Jr., Anna Adan (Hassan), Ashleigh White, Breanna Bivins, Brittni Bivins, Jared Bivins, Chris Moultrie (Jasmine), Christina Moultrie, John Kidd, Donna Gullap (Lamar) and Dionne Harris (Michael); her great grandchildren, Queen Bivins, Ayden White, Hassan Adan, Brionne Kidd, Daija Kidd, Kejaunna Kidd, Omarr Gullap, Nyla Gullap, Shamarr Gullap, Jasmine English, Micalya Harris, Amaya Harris, Christian Moultrie, Leandre Walker, Leayzjah Walker and Maliah Moultrie; her niece Cassandra Hawthorne; her great-niece Kierra Hawthorne; and her friends, Nettie and Lank Morrisette. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (5051 Frison, Mobile, AL 36693). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
