We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2025, at the age of 75, Billie H. Dorriety in Mobile, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Morgan and Maggie Elizabeth Hall Dorriety; his siblings, James Edward Dorriety, Curtis LaVonne Dorriety, Jerry Wayne Dorriety, Ervin Dorriety, Daisy Mills, Arvie Jean Jones, Gladys Taylor and Ersel Lee Brackin; and his pet JoJo.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Dorriety of Atmore, Alabama; his children, Catherine Renae Bowers (Jerome) of McDavid, Morgan Elizabeth Driver (Dillon) of Northport, Alabama, Robby Gibson (Sandra) of Yuma and Amy Jo Gibson of Pace, Florida; his siblings, Doris Lewis (James) of Milton, Libby Lundy (George) of Semirah Springs, Betty Weaver of Booneville, Alabama and Charles Dorriety of Atmore, Alabama; his brother-in-law Roy Brackin of Munson, Florida; and his grandchildren, Braige, Rhett, Renley and Reed Rushing. He is also survived by step-grandchildren and many numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Petty Funeral Homes (9260 US-31, Atmore, AL 36502). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1201 N Main St, Atmore, AL 36502).
