He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Edward and Doris Griffin Branum; his stepfather Ernest Boggan; his wife Judy Vickery Branum; and his brother Donald Edward Branum.
He is survived by: his daughter Bonnie Branum Minopoli; his son-in-law Nicholas Minopoli; his granddaughter Olivia of Mobile, Alabama; and his sister Jewel Hadley of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Atmore or Pilots for Christ.
