She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thurman and Theresa Thurman; and her siblings, Melvin Mayhand Jr., Marco Thurman, Jeanette Houston and Annette Holcombe.
She is survived by: her sister Kathey Thurman of Mobile, AL; and her children, Tonya R. Malone (Lonnie L. Malone) of Jacksonville, FL, Angela M. Boggs (Paul Poe) of Mobile, AL and Eddie Boggs III of Mobile, AL.. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Little Welcome Missionary Baptist Church (1516 Wolf Ridge Rd, Mobile, AL 36618).
