She was predeceased by: her son Ted Ruffin; and her husband Jerry Dotson. She is survived by: her mother Lucille Payton; her children, Robert Ruffin (Donna), Tim Ruffin, Mark Gordin (Amy) and Deborah Ruffin; and her nephew Michael Murphy. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
