He is survived by: his wife Lorrie Covington; his children, Elizabeth Carol Roberts, Rebecca Covington, Connor Hopkins (Valentine) and Caleb Hopkins (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Diego (Hailey), Winter, Andrea, Coral, Isabella, Paxton, Syelas, Remington, Nathaniel, Orson, Katana, Levi, Maleena and Salem; his nephew Tyler Chase; his parents, Billy Covington and Carol Covington; and his brother Bruce Covington.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Four Points Baptist Church (13007 US-45, Fruitdale, AL 36539). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at the Fruitdale Cemetery (132 Fruitdale Cemetery Rd, Fruitdale, AL 36539).
