He is survived by: his mother Gloria Inez Edwards; his wife Marlene Edwards; his children, Lacey Collins of Mobile, AL, Kyle Bell of Mobile, AL, Carl Edwards Jr. of Atlanta, GA and Leslie "Tre" Collins of Mobile, AL; his grandchildren, Carter and Kali; his goddaughter Naomi; his siblings, Ladora McCoy of Mobile, AL, Yolanda Broadhead Hill of Mobile, AL, Derrick Burroughs of Monroe, AL, Michael Edwards of Mobile, AL. and Alphonso Broadhead of Mobile, AL.; his siblings-in-law, Renee'Edwards (Yaquanda McBride) of Quantico, VA and Bryant Fields of Mobile; his uncles, Robert Battles Sr. (Betty) of Mobile and Walter Battles of Mobile; his nephew LaMichael T. Edwards; his nieces, Ashley Collins (Darryl), Angel Edwards, Kasey McCoy and Ariah Edwards; his cousins, Tara, Sonya, Tanya, Greg, Tyrone (Belinda), Bobby, Ernest, Dewayne and Jermaine; and his friends, Rosshiki Leatherwood and Sedrick "Showtime" Stovall. He is also survived by wife, and to their family.
