With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carlene Ragan (Mobile, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Carlene departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carlene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carlene leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Burford and Ida Van Burford; and her sisters, Myrtle Van DeCar and Bobbye Visel. She is survived by: her husband Leon Ragan; and her sons, Michael Wahl, Greg Ragan, Scott Ragan and Jeff Ragan.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens (6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619).
