He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Carter Damp. He is survived by: his mother Clara Alice Waggoner Damp; his wife Susan Carol Howell Damp; his daughters, Sarah Elizabeth Damp Kyranakis (Ryan) and Carlie Allyn Damp Barbour (Simeon); his grandchildren, Lauren, Jason, Rachel Kyranakis, Ezekiel and Elijah Barbour; and his sisters, Kathleen Irving (Tom), Karen Langham (Robert) and Christine Barton (Ron). He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Pine Crest Funeral Home (1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, if you should wish, make a donation in Carter's name to the Dementia Center of America for Lewy Body Dementia research.
