She was predeceased by: her parents, Catharine Hill Hodges and Thomas Lawrence Hodges; and also Thomas Lawrence Hodges, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Emory Bush Peebles III; her children, Emory Bush Peebles IV (Debbie), Catharine Peebles Dukes (John) and Thomas Hill Peebles (Meredith); her grandchildren, Alexandra Peebles, Win Peebles, Caroline Peebles, Catharine Dukes, Virginia Dukes, Thomas Peebles, John Peebles and Luke Peebles; her siblings-in-law, Laura, Schley Rutherford, Allison and John Peebles; her sibling's children, Mary Hodges Cole, Lee Adams (Sumner), John Schley Rutherford, John Connor H. Peebles and William B. Peebles; and her great-niece Ally Mund.
