Charles leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Charles will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorraine Hollinghead and Charles Franklin Westover; his sister Marilyn (Stainton); and his brother-in-law Richard "Dicky" Stainton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Westover; his son Scott Westover (Christine Westover); his grandchildren, Sophie Westover and Kaleb Westover; and his sister Marianne Reaves. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (6040 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Charles' memory to Chickasaw Methodist Church.
