Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wesley Whitten, Sr. and Maria Van Loock Whitten. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his stepchildren, Jon Horn (Emma) and Donna Horn; his grandchildren, Kennedy, Tucker and Wesley Horn; and his sister Lucille Whitten Allen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mobile Memorial Gardens (6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Charles's name to the Alzheimer's Association, in honor of his enduring spirit and in support of the many families touched by this disease.
