He was predeceased by: his children, Denise Chappelle and Clearthur Lee, III; and his siblings, Oscar Motley, Anthony Motley, Gary Motley, Bobby Lee, Clarence Lee and Delores Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Bettie Jean Patterson Lee of Pensacola, FL; his children, Emmanuel "Greg" Lee, Sr. of Phoenix, AZ, Emery Barfield of Germantown, MD, Renee Barfield, Cleathur Lee, Jr. (Artie) of Las Vegas, NV, Cheryl Robinson of Phoenix, AZ and Danette Cox (Dede) of Chandler, AZ; and his siblings, Frank Motley of Saginaw, MI, Kenneth Motley of Saginaw, MI, Clarissa England of Saginaw, MI, Valarie Petterson of Dallas, TX and Vincent Motley of Saginaw, MI. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
