With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Christopher DeLaney of Mobile, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. David left this world on September 30, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Christopher Columbus DeLaney. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his mother Cleo; his brothers, Bryan, Michael and Robin (Elaine); his children, Brooks (Leigh Ann), Drew (Kristen) and Mark (Berkley); his grandchildren, Lily, Jackson and Mack; and his daughters, Helen and Rosemary.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Mobile Yacht Club (4925 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in David's memory to UMS-Wright Preparatory School, Bayside Academy and The Bahamas National Trust.
