It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Elizabeth McWhirter of Mobile, Alabama, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Headrick and Inez Headrick; and her sister Linda Mosley (Albert). She is survived by: her husband Fred McWhirter; her children, Amanda McBride (Joey), Brian Black (Miranda) and Daniel McWhirter; her grandchildren, MaKayla Brewer (Landon), Emily Lolley, Caitlyn Lolley, Karis Black, Ryleigh Black, Carlie Black and Allie Bryan; her brother Richard Headrick (Laura); her niece Melissa Mosley; and her mother-in-law Frances Horne.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Funeral Home (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Chapel (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Valhalla Memorial Gardens (8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, AL 36613).
