She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hughes and Hazel Hughes; and her siblings, Willie Hughes, Jr., Marion Hughes, Celia Marshall, Fannie McCullum and Carl Hughes.
She is survived by: her husband Larry T. Hunt; her daughter Vangie M. Anise (Olabode); her stepson Victor C. Hunt Sr. (Marissa); her grandchildren, Olange Anise-Bluford (Jacob), Annalise Anise and Olabode Anise II (Leah); her stepgrandchildren, Ashlyn Lanas Harvey, Larry Lanas Hunt, Victor Lanas Hunt Jr. and Aiyana Lanas Hunt; her great grandchild Olivia Bluford; her sister-in-law Myrtle Hughes; and her extended family Mattie Hunt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, church family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Ebenezer Baptist Church (5051 Frison, Mobile, AL 36693). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
