He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Rowell and Shirley Rowell; his sister Mamie Rowell; and his former wife Marie A. Rowell (Bonnie). He is survived by: his wife Nan Wang Rowell; his stepchildren, Jessica Petit (Frederic Petit) and Fran Lamour; his grandchildren, Alexis Conner and Nathalie Petit; his great grandchild Ava Grace Lowery; and his niece Amy Rowell.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Ascension Funeral Home (1016 Hillcrest Rd, Mobile, AL 36695).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Donnie's memory.
